Keosababian
Spiritual Director
Attentive, contemplative listening for the life with God
Hello
I'm Lisa Keosababian. I grew up in the wide-open spaces of Wyoming, a geography that shaped my desire for spacious places. Spiritual direction is one such space. It offers room to take a deep breath, notice what is happening in life, gain new perspective, and experience the goodness and love of God.
In my first career as a research analyst, I listened to the professional stories of a variety of people, such as child care providers, wildland fire fighters, and public officials. I saw the value of listening with openness and curiosity. After a season of loss, I longed for something new. I wanted to weave together my desire for prayer and my listening skills. As a spiritual director, I practice prayerful listening. And as I prayerfully listen, I’m honored to witness Jesus' love and care for each person.
I live with my husband in Woodinville, Washington, where the tree-filled landscape reminds me of the gentle shelter we find in God. I enjoy walking in my neighborhood and on nearby trails, and find delight in what I like to call my 3B’s: books, birds, and bread baking.
I have a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation and a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Portland Seminary (George Fox University) and Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington.
